Refund, Cancellation & Delivery Policy
Effective Date: October 10th, 2026
Scope
This Policy applies to purchases made directly from ACT Sustainable (ACTS), including events, courses, programs, digital content, and physical products where offered.
Specific Services may have additional cancellation or refund conditions displayed before purchase. Where applicable law provides greater rights, those rights will apply.
This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Events
Unless different terms are stated before purchase:
Event tickets may be cancelled for a full refund up to 7 days before the event.
Cancellations within 7 days of the event, or failure to attend, are generally non-refundable.
Tickets may be transferred to another person where ACTS permits.
If ACTS cancels an event, customers will be offered a refund or, with their agreement, an alternative event or credit.
Material event changes will be handled fairly in accordance with applicable law.
Courses and Programs
Live Courses and Programs
A full refund may be requested before the Service begins, subject to any specific conditions communicated at purchase.
Once a course or program has started, refunds are generally not available except:
where the Service is materially defective or significantly different from what was purchased;
where specific Service terms provide otherwise; or
where required by applicable law.
Where legally required, any refund may take into account the portion of the Service already delivered or used.
Recorded and Digital Content
Refunds for recorded courses or digital content may be requested within 14 days of purchase, provided the content has not been substantially accessed, downloaded, or consumed.
Where a customer expressly requests immediate access to digital content, cancellation rights may be limited once access or performance begins, where permitted by applicable law.
Physical Products and Delivery
Where ACTS offers physical products:
Delivery times and charges will be displayed or communicated before purchase.
Delivery may be fulfilled through third-party courier or logistics providers.
Most eligible products may be returned within 14 days of receipt, provided they remain in their original condition, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
Defective, damaged, incorrect, or materially nonconforming products may be returned or exchanged within the period required by applicable law, including up to 30 days where Egyptian consumer law applies.
Unless the product is defective, incorrect, or the return results from ACTS's error, return-delivery costs may be borne by the customer where permitted by law.
If delivery is materially delayed beyond the agreed or legally required timeframe, the customer may have the right to cancel and receive a refund.
ACTS Cancellations
Where ACTS cancels a paid Service and does not provide an agreed suitable alternative, the amount paid for the cancelled Service will be refunded.
If a Service is materially defective or not provided as described, ACTS may, depending on the circumstances and applicable law:
provide the Service again;
correct the issue;
provide an appropriate partial refund; or
provide a full refund.
ACTS is not responsible for additional personal expenses such as transportation, accommodation, or other thirdparty costs unless expressly agreed or required by law.
Refund Requests
Refund requests should be submitted through the ACTS Contact Us page or at info@acts.eco, including the relevant order, ticket, or registration information.
Eligible refunds will normally be returned using the original payment method. Where this is technically unavailable, another method may be agreed with the customer.
ACTS will initiate eligible refunds within the timeframe required by applicable law. Where Egyptian consumer law applies, this may be within 7 days as applicable.
Banks, card issuers, wallets, and payment providers may require additional time before the refunded amount appears in the customer's account.
Abuse and Exceptions
ACTS may refuse a refund where permitted by law if there is reasonable evidence of fraud, abuse, duplicate claims, unauthorized payment activity, or misuse of the Service or this Policy.
Promotional, complimentary, discounted, sponsored, or credit-based purchases may have specific conditions disclosed at the time they are offered.
Nothing in this Policy limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived. z
Privacy
Personal data related to purchases, refunds, transactions, and customer support is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to This Policy
ACTS may update this Policy to reflect changes in our Services, operations, or legal requirements.
The version applicable at the time of purchase will generally govern that purchase, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
