These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, applications, events, courses, programs, communities, career and opportunity services, digital tools, and other products or services provided under ACT Sustainable (“ACTS”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) (collectively, the “Services”).

ACTS is operated by ACTS For Sustainable Development, based in Egypt.

By creating an account, registering, purchasing, or using a Service, you agree to these Terms and the policies referenced in them.

Where a specific Service has additional terms, or ACTS has a separate written agreement with you or your organization, those terms will apply to that Service and will prevail in case of conflict.

You must have the legal capacity required in your jurisdiction to use or purchase the relevant Service.

Certain educational programs, events, competitions, or activities may be available to minors. Where required, participation will be subject to appropriate parental or legal-guardian authorization.

You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account credentials secure, and not sell, transfer, or misuse your account.

ACTS may restrict or suspend accounts reasonably believed to be compromised, fraudulent, unlawful, or in material breach of these Terms.

ACTS may provide or facilitate:

Events, conferences, workshops, and professional experiences.

Courses, training, and learning programs.

Jobs, internships, freelance work, mentorship, and other opportunities.

Communities and networking services.

Programs delivered for or with institutional partners.

Digital content, tools, artificial intelligence, and technology-enabled services.

Other professional, educational, sustainability, and community services.

The description, price, eligibility requirements, schedule, delivery method, and other material conditions of a particular Service will be communicated before registration or purchase where applicable.

ACTS may reasonably update the structure, schedule, speakers, trainers, venue, delivery method, or similar operational aspects of a Service. Material changes affecting a paid Service will be handled in accordance with our Refund, Cancellation & Delivery Policy and applicable law.

Some jobs, opportunities, courses, speakers, trainers, mentors, employers, organizations, content, or services available through ACTS may be provided by independent third parties.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, ACTS facilitates access or introductions but does not control or guarantee the decisions, conduct, performance, or outcomes of independent third parties.

ACTS does not guarantee:

employment or recruitment;

admission or acceptance;

investment or funding;

business opportunities or commercial results;

professional licensing or accreditation; or

any particular educational, career, financial, or networking outcome.

You are responsible for reasonably evaluating third-party opportunities before entering into commitments with them.

Before a paid purchase is completed, ACTS will provide or make available the material information relating to the relevant Service, including its price and applicable charges.

You agree to provide accurate billing and transaction information.

Payments may be processed through authorized thirdparty payment or financial-service providers and may be subject to their processing, verification, and security requirements.

ACTS may review, reject, or cancel a transaction where reasonably necessary because of suspected fraud, unauthorized payment, evident pricing or technical errors, legal requirements, or misuse of the Services.

Prices and offers may change for future transactions. A later price change does not normally affect an already completed purchase.

Cancellation, withdrawal, transfer, return, and refund conditions are governed by our Return & Refund Policy and any specific conditions disclosed before purchasing the relevant Service.

Nothing in these Terms or our policies limits mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.

Registration for an event, course, or program does not guarantee the participation of a particular speaker, trainer, employer, partner, or attendee unless expressly stated.

Unless specifically described as an accredited qualification, certificates issued by ACTS confirm participation or completion only and should not be interpreted as a professional license, academic degree, or regulatory accreditation.

Participants must comply with reasonable safety, venue, program, and community requirements.

ACTS may refuse or remove participation where reasonably necessary to protect participants, staff, partners, property, or the proper operation of a Service.

Where the Services allow you to submit or publish content, you remain responsible for that content and must have the necessary rights and permissions to provide it.

You retain ownership of your original content.

By submitting content to ACTS, you grant ACTS a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, and technically adapt it only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the relevant Services.

Content submitted privately, including CVs and applications, does not become public merely because it is submitted to ACTS.

ACTS may remove or restrict content that reasonably appears unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, infringing, misleading, or inconsistent with these Terms or the intended purpose of the Services.

You may not use ACTS to:

engage in unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, or deceptive activity;

impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;

infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights;

gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, data, or Services;

upload malicious software or interfere with security or functionality;

collect personal information about others without lawful authority;

scrape, crawl, systematically extract, or reproduce ACTS content or data without authorization;

resell or transfer access to restricted Services or content;

make or distribute unauthorized recordings of restricted sessions or materials;

send spam or unauthorized commercial communications; or

assist another person in carrying out prohibited activity.

ACTS may take reasonable action to investigate or prevent misuse, including restricting access or removing content.

ACTS and its licensors retain all rights in the ACTS brand, trademarks, designs, websites, applications, software, databases, original content, learning materials, and other intellectual property provided through the Services.

You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, nontransferable right to use the Services for their intended purpose.

Unless expressly authorized, you may not copy, sell, reproduce, modify, distribute, license, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit ACTS intellectual property.

Third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

ACTS may use artificial intelligence, automated recommendations, analytics, and third-party technology within its Services.

Automated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular situation. Unless expressly provided by a qualified professional, they should not be considered legal, medical, financial, investment, recruitment, or other regulated professional advice.

You remain responsible for reviewing information before relying on it for material decisions.

ACTS's processing of personal data through such technologies is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Cookies and similar technologies are addressed in our Cookie Policy.

By using a Service, you agree to receive communications reasonably necessary to operate that Service, including account, registration, payment, event, course, security, and administrative communications.

Marketing communications are managed separately in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

ACTS aims to provide reliable Services but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

We may maintain, update, replace, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for operational, technical, security, commercial, or legal reasons.

ACTS is not responsible for failures or delays caused by third-party infrastructure or circumstances outside its reasonable control, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Where a material disruption affects a paid Service, applicable remedies will be handled according to our Return & Refund Policy and mandatory law.

Where permitted by law, ACTS's aggregate liability arising from a particular paid Service will not exceed the amount paid directly to ACTS for that Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections or liability arising from fraud or willful misconduct.

ACTS will not be responsible for delay, modification, or failure caused by circumstances reasonably outside its control, including natural disasters, severe weather, publichealth emergencies, governmental actions, venue closures, infrastructure or telecommunications failures, security incidents, civil disturbances, or similar events.

Where reasonably possible, ACTS may reschedule, relocate, substitute, modify, or move a Service online.

Mandatory consumer rights and applicable refund rights remain unaffected.

You may stop using ACTS at any time, subject to outstanding contractual or payment obligations.

ACTS may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:

material or repeated breach of these Terms;

fraud, unlawful activity, or misuse;

safety or security risks;

infringement of third-party rights;

non-payment of lawfully due amounts; or

legal or regulatory requirements.

Termination does not affect rights, obligations, payments, or liabilities that arose before termination.

ACTS works with companies, government entities, international organizations, universities, NGOs, and other institutions.

If you use ACTS on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for that organization.

Specific proposals, purchase orders, statements of work, contracts, tenders, framework agreements, or Data Processing Agreements may contain additional or different terms.

Where such a written agreement conflicts with these Terms, the written agreement will govern the relevant institutional engagement.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

We encourage users to contact ACTS first so disputes can be addressed directly and in good faith.

Subject to mandatory rights or jurisdictional rules that cannot legally be excluded, disputes arising from these Terms or the Services will be subject to the competent courts of Egypt.

ACTS may update these Terms to reflect changes in our Services, business, technology, or legal requirements.

The latest version will be published with its effective date. Material changes will apply prospectively and, where required, appropriate notice or renewed acceptance will be provided.

If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

A failure by ACTS to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver.

These Terms, together with the applicable Privacy Policy, Refund, Cancellation & Delivery Policy, Cookie Policy, and any Service-specific or written agreement, govern your use of the relevant ACTS Services.
